Consulting Engineering Firm

Our relationship with this firm spans two presidents and growth from 55 to 130 employees (and counting). We have helped revise the share ownership plan and develop a new board and management structure; we advised on implementation of the structural changes, conducted periodic surveys and authored a formal management review. We continue to advise this firm on strategy, growth and the acquisition of other professional firms.

Landscape Design, Construction & Pottery Sales Firm

We have counseled and worked with the owner of this firm on general business management and business development projects for nearly 10 years. We assisted with separating the business from a former partner including managing legal issues, and advising on purchasing and leasing of the building it is housed in. We assisted with re-establishing the company’s accounting and financial systems, benefits, insurance, and pottery sales and marketing efforts. We helped to hire and train staff.

Landscape Irrigation Firm

We were contracted to be manage this firm on a interim basis. We led the company through its busy season, began modernization of the office operations, developed new accounts and managed installation projects.

Electrical Contractor

For this firm we coordinated development of a new marketing strategy including the development of a new corporate identity. In addition, we assisted the President to implement a computerized estimating and bidding system.

Network Hosting & Services Company

For this firm we co-authored the business development strategy with the President, and collaborated with the CFO to create and manage financial oversight and reporting.

High-End Building Contractor

We advised the owner of this firm on financial management, and negotiated on his behalf to obtain better terms with banks and creditors.
